A vast deposit of at least one hundred different types of marble and granite slabs is available and can be seen by potential buyers.
The stone processing is performed in the new plant with modern numerically controlled machinery which ensure maximum autonomy in all the phases of production.
The company specializes in the production of precision ground slabs for kitchen tops and coverings as well as floors, marble tiles and stone products in general.
The company occupies an area of 20,000 mq, of which more than 5,000 are covered, in which the production areas and the office building are located.
The prestigious office building was designed in a striking futuristic style in which the choice of materials used for internal and external cladding plays a fundamental role in representing the character of the company.
The building is also provided with the facilities necessary to manage all the phases of production, lines for precision grinding and various surface finishes of the slabs, numerically controlled machinery for production and finishing of products.
The production area and the internal slab deposit are covered with 1720 solar panels capable of producing about 400,000 KWh of power per year which represents more than 80% of the company’s power requirement.
Its color and its movements allow various combinations and place it at the top of the world decoration trend.
The material is available at our warehouse in blocks and large slabs.
Environmental product declaration
IMA-Marmi Alberti srl places on the market are produced applying the best techniques available in terms of product quality and environmental impact.
The company provides environmental indicators to quantify the environmental impact of production and also some indications of other performance aspects.
The results of the life cycle analysis (LCA) provide all the information necessary to prepare the EPD on the basis of the guidelines (product category rules - PCR) for stone products indicated in the respective chapter.
This study also supports the technical documentation of natural products used as hard coverings for floors and walls with the purpose of obtaining the voluntary EU ECOLABEL marking (Resolution of the Commission 2009/607/CE) for which a special section has been added to this study.
The LCA study is also something that gives products the potential to obtain the P c1 credit (Innovation in design) of the LEED® standard in the sphere of buildings that conform to the content of the Green Building Council stated in the Italian LEED Manual for New Buildings and Renovations.
On 5 September 2008 our company “Industria Marmi Alberti srl” was certified by the quality control body "Det Norske Veritas" and proved to be in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 (ISO 9001:2008) standard for quality management systems, as specified by Certificate No. 38508-2008-Aq-ITA-SINCERT
